Kupp: Scandi style dining, along with famous Czech beer!

Nicely set on the Regents Canal Paddington Basin on modern Merchants Square is Scandi style all-day cafe. restaurant “KUPP“.

Smaklig måltid! Nyt måltidet ditt! Nyde dit måltid! Hyvää ruokahalua!

Have a nice meal!

There’s a  Scandinavian themed menu – eg gravalax smoked salmon open sandwiches. Also Czech beer ‘ Krušovice’.
It’s a start-up (April 2015) by  Faucet Inn group. On the website you’ll see the Group has a real mix of 20 or so places around London – eg Comptons Pub in Soho.
‘Kupp’ means ‘deal’ or ‘bargain’ in Norwegian – but not sure if that’s how they chose the name.
It is here at Kupp that the Finnish-British  Chamber of Commerce in London celebrate Finland’s Independence Day of Sunday 6th December 2015.
And check out the classic  Crayfish Party !
While there look out for the ‘Rolling  Bridge’. And there’s now a second bridge, called the ‘Fan Bridge’.  Impressive. You can see them both working on youtube here.  And they give you a ‘flicker’ book too – pages with photos, which you flick through and looks like the bridge is moving – clever. . Worth a visit.  Wed and Fri, start  at 12noon, Sat start at 2pm
