Finnish Friends in London

The Embassy of Finland website has a host of useful links to Finnish cultural and business organisations in London.  Our Finnish friends know how to make their presence felt, and add lots of colour to London life.

The website also has  a comprehensive calendar of cultural events here.

According to the Embassy website, the house now occupied by the Embassy was built between 1830 and 1840 by Mr Thomas Cubitt, the Master Builder. It was the grandest house in Chesham Place at the time and is still rather unique as it is the only detached house in the Place and resembles the houses in nearby Belgrave Square.

Lots more about the history of the house on the Embassy website here.
