Bastille Day

 

The French recognize Bastille Day as the 1789 end of the monarchy and beginning of the modern republic. marked as a public holiday on 14th July.

These days, France celebrates this national holiday with a grand military parade up Paris’  Champs Elysées, along with colourful festivals. London joins in the party at Borough Market.
